Job Description:

At TD Securities, the Investment Banking Credit function is an integral part of the full suite of services we offer under Investment Banking. Our Investment Banking professionals provide corporate and institutional clients with capital markets and banking advice and transaction executions worldwide.

You will also work in a team environment, building your corporate and leveraged finance banking skills necessary to be successful in the industry.

TD Securities is seeking a Vice President to join its growing Corporate Debt Finance ("CDF") Group’s execution team with the Corporate and Investment Bank. The Corporate Debt Finance team provides bespoke asset-based back leverage financing and a range of other financing products and services to asset managers that are leading credit managers in US markets including private credit direct lenders, private equity firms and alternative asset managers.

In this capacity you will:

· Play a senior role in the strategic development and implementation of all policies & procedures, risk rating methodologies and internal systems & controls for the newly formed CDF business in conjunction with TD's Risk Management and CDF Origination teams.

· Develop and maintain various internal/external databases to monitor borrowers and collateral.

· Monitor key performance indicators of sector/product specific drivers to make well-informed credit underwriting decisions.

· Maintain expertise in private credit portfolio construction, fund structures, valuation methodologies, and underlying asset performance metrics relevant to asset-based lending and fund finance transactions.

· Interact and negotiate with senior finance professionals at our clients’ businesses.

· Demonstrate leadership in due diligence and structuring around complex CDF bank financings.

· Oversee the research and analysis of clients’ financial performance.

· Review and approve portfolio acquisitions, amendments, restructurings, and other material asset-level events for consistency with approved credit terms and risk appetite.

· Monitor portfolio performance, asset quality trends, and collateral composition, identifying emerging risks and recommending appropriate risk mitigation actions.

· Construct detailed models that establish suitable capital structures and financial covenants.

· Contribute to the development and enhancement of portfolio monitoring frameworks, approval processes, and risk reporting tools for structured and asset-backed credit facilities.

· Identify/recognize cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with other business units/product groups as appropriate.

· Prepare and recommend high-quality credit submissions.

Job Requirements:

· At least 5+ years of banking experience with at least 3 years of experience in lender finance/CDF

· Deep understanding of regulatory environment and its impact on leveraged loans and other securities/asset classes

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
