Lead daily operations at Arby’s to deliver exceptional guest experience, drive sales, and support profitability goals in a high-energy fast food environment. As a Shift Manager, you’ll oversee team performance, ensure smooth shift execution, and uphold the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, all while reinforcing Arby’s core values and company policies. You’ll serve as a role model for teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence, helping both your team and the restaurant succeed

  What You’ll Do

As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include:

• Oversee food, beverages, and supplies while ensuring every menu item meets Arby’s high standards for quality, freshness, and presentation in a fast food setting.
• Ensure every guest leaves happy by resolving concerns quickly and training your team to consistently deliver Quality, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Accuracy, and Speed of Service.
• Follow daily operating systems to maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant.
• Support the attainment of the restaurant’s key performance goals.
• Protect the well-being of all employees and guests by enforcing Arby’s safety and security procedures.
• Operate according to Arby’s performance, profit, and operating standards.
• Inspire and motivate your team through positivity, teamwork, and a shared commitment to achieving company goals.
• Train and hold employees accountable for proper cash handling, credit card security, and maintaining a safe environment for guest payment information.
• Adapt to business needs and be ready to perform beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth, successful operations.

Requirements:

What You Bring

• 6+ months of leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team
• A passion for delivering excellent guest experiences and upholding Arby’s standards of Quality, Friendliness, and Speed of Service
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety, cash handling, and inventory control
• Lead by example and step in wherever needed
• Great communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in maintaining a clean, organized restaurant
• Commitment to continuous learning and completing required leadership training programs

• Prior experience as a Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Leader in fast food or hospitality
• Proven ability to train and coach team members for growth and performance
• Confidence in managing a shift independently while keeping team morale high

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling, lifting, and product handling
• Comfortable with physical tasks related to prep, stocking, and inventory
