Licensed Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Leland, NC

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting serving elementary students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position, located in Leland, NC, offers a chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students, providing essential speech and language support to enhance their academic and social success.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-5 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and classroom integration.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly grades K-5.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families.
