Manager - Pharmacy Workflow Innovation

Position Summary We’re building a world of health around every individual and transforming healthcare through a network of 9,000+ stores. The Pharmacy Workflow Innovation team is part of Retail Store Operations and focuses on supporting the business, enhancing colleague experiences, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate on the creation of strategic roadmaps and execute tactical steps within project plans with minimal support. Partner across enterprise departments to support project execution and coordinate with DDAT for requirements, testing, certification, and launch. Communicate plans, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership through the Sr. Manager. Support implementation teams in writing field communications, managing help desk and field questions, and creating training materials, field meetings, and corporate‑facing documents. Provide ad‑hoc analytics, reporting, and deep‑dive analysis to track progress toward shared goals and translate data insights into actionable recommendations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in retail pharmacy operations, including working in or with pharmacies. 5+ years of experience building high‑performing teams and inspiring them to meet short‑ and long‑term goals. Background in Back End Pharmacy System Operations and understanding of complex systems such as Electronic Prescribing. Strong influence skills, self‑direction, and a continual improvement mindset focused on simplicity and better colleague and customer experience. Excellent interpersonal, time‑management, and communication skills in both formal and informal settings. Demonstrated growth mindset, willingness to learn, and a proven track record of high performance and reliable attendance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Process innovation experience: process and system diagnosis, business case development, solution definition, process mapping, and new system implementation. Knowledge of change management techniques and Lean Six Sigma. Master’s Degree. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 hours per week – full time. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $66,330.00 – $145,860.00. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
