Position summary

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales within an assigned geographic territory by developing relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, architects and specification professionals.

This is an entry-level outside sales opportunity designed for highly motivated individuals who enjoy meeting new people, solving customer problems and controlling their own financial success. Successful representatives can quickly advance into larger territories and senior sales positions.

What you'll do

• Develop new distributor and contractor relationships
• Generate new business through prospecting and networking
• Visit customers throughout your assigned territory
• Conduct product demonstrations and jobsite visits
• Support architects with product specifications
• Assist distributors with inventory planning and promotions
• Manage opportunities using CRM software
• Deliver product training to customers
• Attend trade shows and industry events
• Achieve monthly and annual sales objectives

Who we're looking for

You don’t need years of experience — we’re looking for attitude over résumé. Ideal candidates have:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
• 0–3 years of sales or customer service experience
• A self-motivated, competitive personality
• The ability to work independently
• Excellent organization and time management
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory (approximately 50–70%)
• A valid driver's license

Compensation

Commission

• Uncapped commission plan
• Monthly commission payments
• Accelerators for exceeding quota
• Additional incentives for strategic product growth

First-year on-target earnings

Base salary $60,000

Commission $5,000–$50,000+

Expected total $80,000–$130,000+
