The Senior Financial Analyst will own and lead key financial initiatives that drive strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll be a trusted partner to leadership and cross-functional teams, proactively identifying opportunities, anticipating business needs, and delivering insights that shape the future of Four Hands. In This Role Own the financial planning and analysis process for assigned departments, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking aligned with company goals Lead cross-functional financial initiatives, partnering with teams such as Art Studio, Sales, and Marketing to evaluate proposals and drive strategic decisions Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards to monitor performance, identify trends, and flag risks or opportunities Own the standard reoccurring reporting required by Sales, Art Studio, and other business areas as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate execution Proactively identify areas for financial improvement, anticipate challenges, and recommend solutions before they arise Initiate and drive deep-dive analyses (e.g., profitability, product line, customer segments) and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership Champion process improvements and automation efforts to scale financial operations and improve accuracy and efficiency Prepare and deliver presentations, financial materials, and ad hoc reports that influence business strategy and execution Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and understanding by asking thoughtful questions, exploring data from multiple angles, and engaging with stakeholders to uncover root causes and strategic insights Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: Be open and honest Reach for excellence Act with responsibility Value the whole person Enjoy the journey Pricing & Sales Program Analytics Support pricing strategy and customer incentive programs, including pricing tiers, discounts, loyalty programs, rebates, and sales, commissions, ensuring alignment with profitability and growth, objectives Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate pricing, actions, customer programs, and sales incentive structures, providing, recommendations that optimize revenue and margin performance Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Master Data teams to ensure pricing programs, and customer incentives are accurately governed, executed, and reported Monitor pricing, rebate, commission, and customer profitability trends, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and margin improvement actions Build and maintain customer, pricing, and sales performance reporting in Power BI, D365, and other reporting tools to support strategic decision-making Deliver customer and sales analytics that support contract negotiations, segmentation strategies, growth planning, and leadership reporting Continuously improve processes, controls, and reporting capabilities related to pricing, rebates, commissions, and customer analytics The Ideal Person 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling company Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities, anticipate business needs, and take initiative Naturally curious, with a strong desire to understand the “why” behind the numbers and business drivers Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysis Experience using data to create high-level insights and strategic recommendations Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), ERP systems, and financial platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly present financial information to all audiences Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing competing priorities Experience mentoring or coaching others, even outside formal reporting lines, is a plus About Four Hands Headquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor — pieces that are all about creating space.
