FOOD SERVICE WORKER (Part Time) Location: CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – 3201 TX-256, Palestine, TX 75801 Schedule: Part-time, flexible. Days and hours may vary. Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour Job Summary Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2 years of food and nutrition experience in a healthcare setting is required.
