Work Environment

This position is based in our bustling outpatient office located in Jackson, Tennessee, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and community spirit. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while contributing to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to establish individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Provide one-on-one care, focusing on personalized interventions that drive patient progress.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver high-quality treatment options that enhance mobility.
• Implement non-surgical treatment alternatives, emphasizing the importance of reducing medication reliance.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately using EMR software, including Web PT, for seamless patient management.
• Provide education and motivation to patients, guiding them through their recovery with positive reinforcement and support.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Develop and tailor fitness and wellness programs that incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain appropriate patient caseloads to ensure quality focus and individualized attention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and those experiencing chronic pain or mobility issues. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that each patient receives the comprehensive care necessary to restore function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Tennessee without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and an ability to develop adaptive exercise programs.
• Strong documentation skills, especially in the utilization of EMR software such as Web PT.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.

Preferred Experience

• Professional experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, ideally within a similar healthcare setting.
• A track record of developing successful patient care programs and achieving positive rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
