This role requires a detail-oriented leader with extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The Controller will collaborate closely with leadership to enhance financial strategies and ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Responsible for monthly Work In Process (WIP) report, creating divisional entries and reviewing job projections. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing projects and operational needs, including Accounts Receivable collections and weekly check runs Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the project accounting team, fostering professional growth and development. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and Divisional leadership to ensure accurate project costing. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, particularly with individual projects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
