Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Overview Amteck is currently hiring Arkansas Journeyman Licensed Electricians for work in northeastern AR in our Service Dept. This position typically involves 4 10‑hour shifts with the possibility of overtime. A valid Journeyman License in Arkansas is required. Responsibilities Typical duties include installing conduit, wire, and cable systems; reading and interpreting blueprints; installing and terminating panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment; troubleshooting and repairing faulty circuits, equipment, or systems; and, depending on the assignment, carrying out control system tasks. You may also lead 1‑3 team members as needed. Qualifications Active Arkansas Journeyman Electrician License 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems Control experience is a plus Ability to effectively lead 1‑3 team members OSHA 10 preferred but not required Benefits Benefits include steady work, a 401(k), and ongoing training opportunities.
