Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Position available for an Interventional Radiology RN. Shifts are 3x12 during the day. Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, with possible coverage every 3-4 weekends. RNs will typically have one night of call during the week every other week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM the next day. There is one weekend call shift every 4-6 weeks from 5:00 PM Friday night to 7:00 AM Monday morning. RNs may need to float on occasion to nearby facilities. This role involves CT guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 15-20. Reference checks will be required from the last three years of experience. Flexibility is essential, including the commitment to work three of five designated holidays. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Failure to adhere to scheduling requirements may result in contract termination.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year required, preferred 3-5 years ICU experience. Valid State License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. ICU experience is required.
