Location: Fairbanks, AK
Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Clinic
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (No On-Call or Weekend Requirements)
Patient Population: Birth through 22 years of age, primarily infants through middle-teen patients

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join a well-established outpatient pediatric therapy practice. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on helping children achieve their highest level of functional independence and developmental success.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and functional challenges. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, educate families and caregivers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centered pediatric physical therapy services
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
Address gross motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional skills
Educate parents and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and documentation requirements
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and family-centered care environment

Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current or eligible Alaska Physical Therapist License
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Passion for working with pediatric populations
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
