Materials Planner (Hornell)

We’ll look to you for:

• Ensuring material demand is accurately reflected in the ERP based on various planning needs,
• Calculating Material Net Requirements and forecasts in ERP (or alternative) based on the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process,
• Collaborating closely with suppliers on diverse projects to enhance supply chain efficiency,
• Strategically deploying planning and inventory strategies considering parts typology and demand inputs,
• Creating and maintaining accurate material master data within the ERP system,
• Leveraging your problem-solving skills to offer out-of-the-box solutions and resolutions,
• Utilizing your excellent communication skills to interact effectively with domestic and international suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field,
• Experience or understanding of supply chain planning and logistics,
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a plus,
• Familiarity with production planning and inventory management strategies,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to offer innovative solutions and ideas,
• Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management is a plus, but not required.
