Shift Manager

Overview This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and products but is a separate employer. Employees hired for this role will be employed by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, and all employment decisions are handled by the franchisee. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Key duties include: Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants. Positive team players with a flexible schedule who thrive in fast‑paced environments are sought.
