The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. We're looking for a Senior Engineer, Software Applications to help drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Corning's asset and maintenance management systems across our global manufacturing network. In this role, you'll partner with teams across manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, IT, OT, quality, and data engineering to improve maintenance workflows, asset reliability, and system performance using tools like IBM Maximo, AVEVA PI, Power BI, Databricks, and more.What You'll DoSupport the global rollout and optimization of IBM Maximo Application SuiteTranslate maintenance and operational needs into scalable digital workflows and reporting solutionsPartner with cross-functional teams to improve asset reliability, safety, quality, and process efficiencyBuild and enhance dashboards and reporting in Power BIProvide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for Maximo usersAssist with testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system governanceSupport manufacturing sites through deployments, outages, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You'll Bring (Required)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Strong experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite or equivalent CMMS systemKnowledge of SQL, REST APIs, data governance, and manufacturing system environmentsPreferredExperience supporting CMMS platforms in manufacturing facilitiesKnowledge of maintenance and reliability workflowsAVEVA PI historianPower BI and/or DatabricksFamiliarity with Industry 4.0Exposure to Python, JScript, or similar languagesExperience influencing change across complex operational environmentsLocation: Office-based in the Corning, NY area. The range for this position is $86,878.00 - $119,458.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.A job that shapes a life.
