Learn more about career areas and business divisions at .In this role, you will:Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and businessDevelop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutionsContribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirementsDrive solutions to reduce recoveryReview and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotationsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesDesign complex system upgradesResolve troublesome trends as they developDevelop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurringDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:4+ years of experience supporting IBM z/OS mainframe environmentsStrong hands-on experience with: IBM z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, and Mainframe and infrastructure technologies4+ years of experience of MQ support experience4+ years of experience building, troubleshooting, and executing JCLDirect experience supporting Hogan applications and associated infrastructure is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working in highly regulated financial services environmentsJob Expectations:Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for the Mainframe environment, ensuring platform stability, resiliency, and performanceSupport, maintain, and enhance mission-critical mainframe infrastructure technologies, including z/OS, MQ, CICS, IMS, DB2, and related middleware componentsLead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents, service degradations, and critical outages impacting Hogan applications and supporting infrastructureParticipate in a rotating 24 x 7 on-call support schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to provide rapid response and recovery for critical production incidentsPerform root cause analysis for recurring issues and develop sustainable solutions that improve platform reliability and reduce operational riskPartner closely with application development teams, production support teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technology solutionsSupport change management activities, including change planning, implementation, validation, and post-implementation reviews for critical banking systemsProven ability to troubleshoot complex incidents and restore service quicklyExperience implementing monitoring, automation, and operational stability improvementsKnowledge of disaster recovery, resiliency, business continuity, and high-availability conceptsExperience reducing recurring production issues through root cause analysis and remediationProven track record of resolving complex technical challengesAbility to mentor junior engineers and share institutional knowledgeStrong collaboration skills across application, platform, infrastructure, and business teamsExperience influencing technical decisions and driving operational improvementsPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
