Travel RN Cardiac Step-Down / Telemetry

Shift: Nights 36 hours per week

Assignment Details

Contract length: 1326 weeks; orientation: 24 hours

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac floor experience required
• Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months cardiac experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Core skills: cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, post-MI care, and management of cardiac drips
• Preferred skills: arterial line management, wound care

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to adults and geriatrics with common cardiac conditions
• Monitor patients' cardiovascular status and respond to emergencies
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered
• Assist in cardiac procedures and manage post-operative care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required. All time-off requests must be pre-approved and may be limited during the first week of employment and during holidays.
