Surgical Technologist

Our Surgical Technicians play a key role in facilitating safe and successful surgeries for our patients! Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover. Develop and Grow Your Career! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status. Position-Specific Benefits include: You are eligible for up to 160 hours of paid time off per year based on your Full or Part Time status. Surgical Techs are eligible for $4.25/hr for On-Call pay. Position Details Position: Surgical Technician Shift: 36 hours weekly, 7a -7:30p. No holiday, weekend or call. Experience: One year of Operating Room experience preferred. Education: Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology. Licensures/Certifications: Surgical Technician Certification (CST) Preferred if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years. Certified Surgical Technologist (by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required within 60 days of date of hire, if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.
