Job OverviewA law firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory matters and/or energy-related litigation to join their Energy practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills and experience in the energy industry, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Duties Engage in energy regulatory matters and energy-related litigation. Conduct insightful research and analysis. Collaborate with a high-performing team on complex matters. Provide regulatory, counseling, and litigation expertise. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory or litigation matters. Experience with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) preferred. Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to assume immediate responsibility. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar, active and in good standing, or ability to waive in. Skills Stellar writing abilities.
