Overview Nocturnist Physician – Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen. Responsibilities Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen Part of the University of Maryland Medical System University hospital with excellent specialty support Average 15 patients/day Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes Admissions, unit-based rounding, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds Geographic rounds, participation in rapid response and code team Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs Day: 10 Physicians and 7 APPs Swing: 1 APP Night: 2 Physicians and 3 APPs
