The comprehensive cardiovascular care we offer includes Consultative Cardiology, Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease Testing and Treatment, Pacemaker Implantation and Follow Up, Electrophysiology Testing, Defibrillator Implantation and Follow Up, Nuclear Cardiology, and In-Office Finger Stick Coumadin Testing**About the Job:**The Surgical Technician Ambulatory will perform a variety of duties which assist the surgeon in carrying out a safe surgical procedure with optimal results for the patient. They will function as an integral member of the Procedure Room team and contribute to maintaining a professional, respectful, and effective patient care and work environment.**What You’ll Do:*** Ensure the availability and preparedness of supplies and equipment needed to support efficient and effective peri- and intraoperative processes.* Perform visit chart preparation activities based on the daily scheduled appointments, including diagnostic test results, emergency/urgent care reports, discharge summaries, and consult/PCP reports, ensuring they are in the medical record and accessible to the provider. Anticipate care information to support the provider visit.* Obtain, document, and process specimens using the appropriate collection process and equipment.* Prepare the procedure room before the procedure.* Collaborate with specialty physicians to acquire new/special equipment for procedures.* Assist the proceduralist and other members of the procedure team throughout the surgical process to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
