Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, especially in a school or high school resource room setting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, students, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to daily classroom changes and student needs
• Solid understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Ability to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in achieving academic and behavioral goals in the resource room
• Assist teachers with individualized and group instruction
• Help implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) accommodations and modifications
• Supervise and monitor students in both academic and social situations
• Promote positive student engagement and participation
