Pediatric Physical Therapist

Schedule

The schedule for this position is flexible, currently set at 4 days a week, 10 hours per day. Alternate schedules of 5 days a week at 8 hours per day may also be arranged.

Job Description

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluation, and treatment to pediatric patients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, clinical skills, effective documentation, and positive patient outcomes. Practicing with high moral and professional standards and showing commitment to continuous professional development is essential. The position requires effective time management and teamwork skills to contribute to the successful operation of the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients with neuro conditions.
• Supervise and develop the skills of support staff (PTA) involved in patient care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including co-treatment when indicated.

Required Experience

Pediatric experience is required for this position, as well as relevant licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
