Carilion Clinic and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine are seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This role involves providing quality psychiatric care to an acute, adult inpatient population as part of a four-provider inpatient team. The position offers an opportunity to participate in research projects and contribute to evidence-based practice within a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system.

- Oversee clinical leadership of a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Typical case load is 10-12 patients daily
- Average length of stay of 5-7 days
- Academic appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
Responsibilities
- Provide quality psychiatric care to an acute, adult inpatient population
- Oversee clinical leadership of a multidisciplinary treatment team including psychiatric residents and medical students
- Participate in research projects
- Contribute meaningfully to evidence-based practice
Compensation
- Min Starting Salary: $286,875
- Max Starting Salary: $358,207
- Salary Range, $301,875 to $358,207
- Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary
- Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary

- Degree from an accredited medical school
- ABPN board certification or eligibility
- Successful completion of accredited residency in Psychiatry
