RV Detailer

Detailer – RV Dealership Detailers must be skilled at working with their hands and have an eye for detail. They must be motivated and customer-service oriented, reliable, and good at time management. Detailer Duties and Responsibilities Detailers are responsible for cleaning both the interiors and exteriors of RVs and motorhomes, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and safety gear is available. Clean Interiors The main duties include steam cleaning upholstery, shampooing carpets, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and deep cleaning restrooms. Detailers may also perform minor repairs to upholstery and remove stains. Clean Exteriors Detailers wash, wax, polish, buff, and protect the paint. They clean all surfaces thoroughly, including tires and the undercarriage, and may perform minor paint fixes or mend small defects. Manage Inventory They manage supplies and equipment, order new supplies, keep track of chemicals and products, and maintain all equipment and safety gear. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug test Capacity to take direction and see a job through from beginning to completion Willingness to learn and advance Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time Ability to lift anywhere from 25–50 lbs Comfortable working in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises Strong attention to detail Solid organizational and multitasking skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility with work schedules, including Saturdays (the dealership is closed on Sundays) Neat, clean, and professional appearance; adherence to cleaning procedures and practices Experience working with cleaning chemicals Meeting physical requirements such as lifting, bending, and standing for the duration of the shift Ability to drive standard and manual transmission vehicles Ability to drive a forklift Previous experience working in detailing setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Airstream Los Angeles
