Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1901 / Week

Job Description & Requirements AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a travel position in Richmond, VA. The role involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents at a well‑respected school district to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support academic and social development. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with specific goals for students with speech and language needs. Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings throughout the school year. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals into the classroom environment. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or a related field. State SLP License in the state of residence. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members. Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
