Warehouse assistant responsibilities include:Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.Accepting delivery of inventory.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.Communicating errors to relevant parties.Marking and labeling stock.General labor taking out trash and landscaping.Loading and wrapping stock and equipment on pallets.Building loads with forklift and pallet jack.Delivering materials to job sites & picking up materials from vendorsProcessing paperwork for deliveries and warehouse ticketsAssist operations teams during loading and unloading of projectsRequirements:18 years of age or olderWork experience as general roof laborer, preferably in construction warehouseAbility to operate forklift proficientlyCompletion of background investigation and drug screeningStrong people skillsGood moral characterPhysically strong, agile and ability to work in all seasons and conditionsPositive work history and ability to maintain solid attendanceAvailable to work extended hoursExcellent time management*Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record*
