Position Summary:The Orthopedic Surgeon provides comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including surgical and non-surgical management. The role involves diagnosis, treatment planning, performing surgeries, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose orthopedic conditions via physical exams, medical history, and imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT).
Develop individualized treatment plans (surgical and non-surgical).
Perform orthopedic surgeries (joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, etc.).
Collaborate with primary care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation specialists.
Provide pre- and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Stay current on evidence-based practices and advancements in orthopedic surgery.
Participate in professional development and continuing education.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Residency: Completed orthopedic surgery residency program
Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Licensure:
- Valid Vermont medical license
- Valid Vermont DEA license
Certifications: CPR for Healthcare Providers
Proficiency in modern orthopedic surgical techniques
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
Commitment to patient safety and professional development

Compensation:

$300,000 - $360,000 annually
Final compensation based on experience, education, and market competitiveness
