Job Description



Job Title: Sr SAP ABAP CRM Consultant

Location: Cincinnati , OH - Onsite

Duration: Long term Contract



Responsibility
Need 12 - 15 Years experienced candidates only.

1. Custom Development
CRM-specific ABAP Enhancements: Development of CRM-specific applications and enhancements using CRM-specific function modules, classes, and BADIs (Business Add-Ins).
Enhancements & Modifications: Implement user exits, BADI, and enhancement spots to modify standard CRM functionality to meet business needs without altering core code.
SmartForms/Adobe Forms: Design and develop CRM-specific forms (e.g., invoices, contracts, quotes) using SmartForms or Adobe Forms.

2. Data Model & Structure Customization
BOL Programming: Utilize the Business Object Layer (BOL) to access CRM data models and handle business logic at the object level.
GenIL Programming: Work with the Generic Interaction Layer (GenIL) to integrate and manipulate CRM data, ensuring effective communication between front-end and back-end systems.
One Order Framework: Develop and customize functionalities based on the One Order Framework for handling objects like activities, leads, opportunities, and service orders.

3. Middleware & Integration
CRM Middleware Configuration: Implement and support middleware processes to ensure synchronization between SAP CRM and SAP ERP (ECC) systems, including master data replication (e.g., customer and product data).
Interface Development: Develop and maintain interfaces to integrate CRM with other third-party systems, using technologies like IDoc, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, and REST APIs.

4. CRM Web UI Enhancements
UI Configuration and Customization: Customize the CRM WebUI (Web User Interface) using WebClient UI Framework, creating custom views, components, and pages.
UI Programming (BSP & HTMLB): Enhance the Web UI using BSP (Business Server Pages) and HTMLB (HTML for Business) for the presentation layer.
Component Workbench (UI Component Enhancements): Implement enhancements using UI Component Workbench to create new views or extend existing ones.

5. Performance Optimization
Code Review and Optimization: Analyze existing ABAP code to ensure efficiency, scalability, and adherence to best practices. Optimize SQL queries, loops, and database access.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Investigate and fix performance issues within CRM transactions or background jobs. Use debugging tools like the ABAP Debugger.
