Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Emergency Room with a 6-bed fast track area, managing a diverse patient population including stroke, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, psychiatric patients, and pediatric cases
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:4, adjusting based on patient acuity
• Operate and document within Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
• Monitor patients utilizing Phillips telemetry with central monitoring support
• Manage ventilated patients and collaborate with on-site respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and physician teams available around the clock
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, including taking a limited patient load when required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with Cerner (FirstNet) EMR
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III trauma experience or higher strongly preferred
• Experience managing high-volume emergency departments (approximately 100 patient visits per day)
• Comfort with a high volume of pediatric emergency patients
