Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and provide 1:1 treatment sessions, including evaluation, plan of care development, documentation, and charge entry.
Competence with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, and letters of medical necessity.
Willingness to supervise and mentor students when assigned.
Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Florida Practice Act.
Preferred: Prior experience with safe patient handling protocols and materials handling procedures.

Facility Type: Outpatient.
Duration: 13 week assignment.
Schedule: 5x8 shifts.
Patient care model: 60 minute initial evaluation and treatment sessions.
