RN - BMT Outpatient Infusion (Cancer Center) Position Overview

• Registered Nurse opportunity within a fast-paced and growing outpatient infusion setting focused on oncology care
• Provides clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population
• Administers chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required

Schedule

• 36 or 40 hours per week
• Primarily weekdays with weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy
• Shift structure: 4x10-hour shifts or 3x9-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients
• Coordinate patient care and deliver patient education
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Apply independent critical thinking and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment

Requirements

• RN license - New York state only
• Recent acute care experience required
• Hematology/Oncology experience - minimum 2 years required
• Oncology (ONC) certification required
• BLS certification - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Telemetry experience required
