About the Position

Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract – Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 17-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across the full facility, covering adult acute care, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, ED, NICU, and PICU as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs
• Manage and operate a variety of ventilators including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care settings
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EMR system
• Fulfill call requirements, including a 2-hour call obligation for the oncoming shift
• Float as needed across departments including NICU/PICU , pediatric acute care, ED, and adult critical care

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required for NICU coverage
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RRT
• Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• NICU and/or PICU experience strongly preferred
• Cardiothoracic experience preferred
