Our core values are integrity, responsibility, empathy, and engagement.The primary purpose of this position is to analyze commercial lending opportunities by evaluating borrower financial information, assessing credit risk, and preparing comprehensive credit recommendations that support sound lending decisions, portfolio quality, and Nutmeg's business banking objectives.Essential Functions:Commercial Credit Analysis and UnderwritingAnalyze business and personal financial statementsEvaluate cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacityPerform global cash-flow and guarantor analysisPrepare credit analysis and underwriting recommendationsCredit Structuring and Risk AssessmentEvaluate collateral, LTV, guarantees, and loan structureIdentify key credit risks and mitigating factorsSupport covenant and loan-condition developmentApply commercial credit policy and underwriting standardsCredit Memorandum and DocumentationPrepare credit presentations and approval packagesMaintain accurate underwriting documentationCoordinate financial information and due diligence requirementsSupport approval and closing processesPortfolio Monitoring and Annual ReviewsComplete annual and periodic credit reviewsMonitor financial performance and covenant complianceIdentify emerging credit deteriorationSupport risk-rating and watch-list processesCredit Quality and Portfolio IntelligenceMonitor portfolio concentrations and credit trendsSupport criticized/classified loan reportingProvide portfolio and credit-quality analysisSupport examinations, audits, and credit-quality reviewsResponsibilities listed reflect general responsibilities of this position and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties. Other duties may be performed as needed.Qualifications:Experience, Education & Credentials:A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field is required.A minimum of five years of prior experience in commercial credit, public accounting, financial statement preparation/analysis or other financial analysis is required.Experience with Corelation Keystone, Jack Henry Symitar, SageWorks (Abrigo) or nCino preferred.Experience with commercial real estate underwriting preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis of credit metrics.
