Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist/PSR)

Overview Strive Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team! At Confluent Health and our family of affiliated brands, Care Coordinators are the heartbeat of the clinic. They are the first voice a patient hears and the first face they see. You set the tone for the entire patient experience: organized, warm, and professional from the very first call through every visit. This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay calm, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team. What we offer Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Family Building and Parental Leave Benefits 401(k) with employer matching up to 4% Structured onboarding with a 30/60/90-day development plan and ongoing support from clinic leadership Clear growth pathways; many of our front desk team members have advanced into clinic management, Responsibilities Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team About Compensation: $17-$17.50/HR Hours Needed: 6:45a - 3:15p, 8a-4:30p, 11:30a-8pm Confluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
