PRN Phlebotomist

PhlebotomistFunctioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Phlebotomist collects and processes blood samples for the clinical laboratory. Performs waived POC testing as needed. Performs patient registration, orders testing and performs clerical duties and other routine duties as assigned. Works at various off site locations including but not limited to LACCA, health fairs, satellite collection centers, etc., to meet needs of the health system. Participates in training of new phlebotomists and students. Maintains the standards set forth in CLIA-88.Education: High School graduate or GED required Completion of approved phlebotomy training also required. Licensure/Certification: NA Experience: None required. Skills: Must have excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
