Technical Product Manager, Chemistry IT Systems

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Technical Product Manager for Chemistry IT Systems to lead discovery informatics platform strategy and delivery across the Innovative Medicine research organization. The role involves translating scientific needs into scalable technology capabilities, managing product portfolios, and enabling AI-augmented discovery workflows across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to global delivery of cheminformatics and discovery informatics platforms
- Define, evaluate, and implement data-driven scientific IT approaches across discovery sciences
- Lead portfolio strategy by identifying gaps, overlaps, and performance improvement opportunities
- Support AI and machine learning deployment for molecular invention and discovery workflows
- Lead cross-site, multidisciplinary projects with internal and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, life science, or data science
- 5+ years pharmaceutical R&D experience in molecular discovery
- Experience with small molecule, peptide, and large molecule chemistry research
- Demonstrated success partnering with scientific and technology stakeholders on IT solutions
- Database management knowledge and cheminformatics platform familiarity
- Graduate degree preferred
- Strong technical expertise in informatics systems advantageous
