Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Tallahassee, Florida.Tallahassee, FLThis is a 13-week contract position.This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of 39 beds with a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. The nurse will collaborate with a team that includes a unit secretary and multiple techs to support efficient patient throughput.The department utilizes advanced equipment, including Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, and Dash bedside cardiac monitors, with all documentation performed through the MediTech system.ResponsibilitiesConduct patient assessments and deliver emergency care.Assist in intubation and other lifesaving procedures.Perform chest tube insertions, moderate sedation, lumbar punctures, laceration repairs, and blood product administration.Round on patients every 30 minutes to 1 hour.Facilitate bedside shift reporting.Required ExperienceCandidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting and demonstrate proficiency in advanced emergency care procedures.Certifications/LicensureValid RN licenseACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
