Account Manager, Business InsuranceWhat you can expect?The Account Manager manages, maintains and expands client relationships to develop, enhance and solidify relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and provide professional insurance services with the coordination of Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments. Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, complete applications, prepare submissions, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and prepare proposals according to agency standards.Performs customer service and account management responsibilities that include resolving issues related to billing, making changes to policies, and responding to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner in accordance with agency standards.Prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.Ensures accuracy, proper handling and appropriate distribution of binders, policies, endorsements, contract reviews and other requests from clientsParticipates in continuing education to maintain P&C license, stay current regulations and enhance insurance knowledgeWhat you need to have: Solid coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledgeEffective oral and written communication and relationship building skills are essentialStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser softwareExceptional time management and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyWhat makes you stand out?Active Property & Casualty licenseExperience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle to include renewal processInsurance designationsWhy choose Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA)?Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides colleagues the freedom to have a rewarding career and also make a difference.
