We are seeking a talented part-time Hair Stylist to join our team at Milestone Salon Services at a location in Wentzville, MO. In this role, you will provide hair care services to our senior clientele, enhancing their appearance and uplifting their spirits. This position is vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, which are tailored to individual client needs.
• Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all clients, enhancing their salon experience.
• Utilize knowledge of color to create personalized hair color solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable services or products.
• Enter services provided into a spreadsheet
• Track resident payments
• Speak with family and the community about resident salon needs

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license required.
• Proven customer service skills with a passion for working with seniors.
• Strong knowledge of hair cutting techniques and color theory.
• Experience with straight razor techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
