About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Med Surg – Texas

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Arlington, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 6:1 patient ratio, 24-bed unit

Highlights:

• Specialized neuro medical-surgical unit with focus on stroke care
• Collaborative team nursing environment with experienced staff support
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 techs per shift
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Sara Steady and bladder scanning technology
• Rotation on-call requirement; no floating required
• Stroke education provided on-site to enhance clinical expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current state RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
• Significant experience in neuro or stroke specialty strongly preferred
• Proficiency in performing EEGs, EKGs, and related neurological assessments
