Win is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Vice President, General Counsel to serve as the organization's chief legal officer and a key member of the Executive Team.

This executive leadership role will provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership while overseeing legal risk, governance, compliance, labor and employment matters, litigation, contracts, real estate transactions, and enterprise-wide risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Serve as chief legal advisor to the CEO, Board, and Executive Team

✅ Lead governance, compliance, ethics, and enterprise risk initiatives

✅ Advise on labor and employment matters, including union environments and investigations

✅ Oversee litigation strategy, insurance claims, and outside counsel management

✅ Negotiate and manage contracts, government funding agreements, and transactions

✅ Support real estate, housing, and development projects

✅ Build and lead a high-performing legal function

Qualifications:

✔ JD from an accredited law school and active New York State Bar membership

✔ 12+ years of progressive legal experience

✔ Significant in-house and/or General Counsel experience

✔ Experience advising CEOs, Boards, and executive teams

✔ Deep labor and employment law expertise, including union environments

✔ Strong litigation, investigations, contracting, and risk management experience

✔ Experience in nonprofit, government contracting, housing, healthcare, or social services environments is highly preferred
