FULL TIME
Accountant
- On-site in Columbia, Maryland
- 40 hours per week | 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Maximum Support Services is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with DDA experience to support our mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. LTSS experience is a plus.
About the Role
You will support the financial integrity of our DDA and LTSS programs through daily accounting tasks, billing, reporting, and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions related to DDA/LTSS billing and reporting
- Maintain financial records and reconcile accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Oversee payroll compliance
- Monitor budgets and provide updates to leadership
- Coordinate with auditors, funders, and state agencies
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with LTSS and DDA billing
- Bookkeeping/accounting background (human services experience preferred)
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of Medicaid billing and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
