The Role

As a Child & Family Outpatient Therapist with Carolina Pediatric Therapy youll provide evaluation assessment and evidence-based mental health treatment to children adolescents and families with a wide range of emotional behavioral developmental and family-system needs.

Depending on your clinical expertise you may support children and families experiencing challenges related to:

• Anxiety depression and emotional regulation
• Behavioral and developmental concerns
• Life transitions and adjustment
• Trauma and stressful life experiences
• Social and interpersonal challenges
• Family and parent-child relationships
• School-related concerns
• Self-esteem coping skills and resilience
• Neurodevelopmental differences and associated emotional or behavioral needs

Youll develop individualized treatment plans and provide engaging developmentally appropriate interventions that help children build skills strengthen relationships and participate more fully in family school and community life.

Youll also have the opportunity to work closely with parents and caregivers helping families understand their childs needs and develop practical strategies that can support progress beyond the therapy room.

Most importantly you wont practice in isolation. Youll be part of an interdisciplinary team that shares ideas coordinates care solves problems together and supports one another.

Requirements

Wed Love to Meet You If You:

• Are currently licensed in North Carolina as an LCSW LCMHC Licensed Psychologist or LMFT
• Value collaboration continued learning and child- and family-centered care
• Have 1 years of experience preferred - strong pediatric candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply
