Position Summary: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for efficiently handling incoming shipments in a cold storage warehouse environment to ensure accuracy and quality of all deliveries. Working collaboratively with fellow Receiving Clerks, the role will verify purchase orders, manage receipt documentation and coordinate with management and union representatives to support seamless operations, utilizing systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Yard Control Systems. Precision and adherence to established supply chain protocols are critical in this role. This role requires working in a low-temperature warehouse setting and focuses on administrative and coordination tasks. Prior experience in receiving and warehouse operations with a strong understanding of logistics and documentation standards is required. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with excellent organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities and a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

What You Will Do:

• Verify purchase orders against invoices and packing lists for accuracy
• Utilize supply chain management systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Yard Control Systems to process and track incoming shipments
• Receive and document shipments accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area in compliance with workplace standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members, management and union representatives
• Adhere to all safety protocols and cold storage handling procedures
• Support inventory audits and stock rotation as needed

What You Will Bring:

• High School diploma or GED
• 12 months of warehouse experience in warehouse setting
• Organizational skills
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
• Computer capability skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs
• Basic math skills
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations. Demonstrate people skills. Good communication skills

Salary range is between $18.29 - $24.38 Hrly
