RESPONSIBILITIES and PURPOSE:

The general responsibility of this position is to weigh, blend, and mix a variety of ingredients using our blending tanks. This includes using granulators, weigh-out scale and tableting scale, and large mixers to assist you throughout the blending process. The blender will be expected to be able to follow the step-by-step process laid out by the product’s formula while observing Good Manufacturing Practices regulations and following Standard Operating Procedures. The work schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will earn $16.00 an hour and paid bi-weekly. The work schedule for 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am. You will earn $17.50 an hour and paid bi-weekly. A $1.00 increase in pay will be implemented after the successful completion of a 90-Day Introductory Period.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mix or blend ingredients by using blending tanks and mixing for specified times
• Weigh or measure ingredients, materials, or products to ensure compliance with product requirements
• Follow steps and descriptions laid out by product formulas to ensure the creation of quality products
• Be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure a safe operation environment and avoid any health or safety accidents
• Accurately and legibly document work as it is performed.
• Follows all GMP guidelines such as gowning, hygiene, materials control, labeling and line clearances.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions, measure, mathematics, read/write English.
• Ability to work and communicate with quality department.

Education and Experience

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Blending Experience 1 year preferred
• GMP or Manufacturing Field Experience 1 year preferred
