You walk the floor, greet production leads, and get the day’s priorities: a line relocation, a preventive maintenance window, and a machine that needs a quick diagnostic. By 2:30 PM, you’ve kept the operation running safely and smoothly—and set up tomorrow for success.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $24 per hour
• Core hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm (overtime opportunities available)

What your day looks like

You’ll partner closely with production to stage and execute line set-ups and relocations. You’ll modify equipment when designs need to evolve, troubleshoot issues as they appear, and plan/schedule preventive maintenance to stay ahead of downtime. When a part isn’t available, you’ll fabricate what’s needed to get the job done. Special projects will come your way, and you’ll take the lead to deliver them safely and on time.

Core responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production and facility equipment and perform timely repairs
• Plan, record, and schedule preventive maintenance activities
• Requisition parts, materials, labor, and support to complete assigned work
• Fabricate or modify components to restore or improve equipment performance
• Lead and manage special projects as required

What you’ll bring

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience

Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC (Capital Blvd, CPO). Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications

• Welding experience and/or certifications
• Hazardous waste management / hazardous waste operations emergency response experience
• Knowledge of electrical systems and devices
• Lock Out / Tag Out Certified
• HVAC training and/or certifications
• Basic computer proficiency

Position criteria

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime; willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting
