The hospital maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing 24-hour weekend call coverage across all assigned periods. Infrastructure is in place to ensure continuity of inpatient cardiac care delivery throughout each designated coverage period.
About the Facility LocationJonesboro offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Options include Craighead Forest Park, which features a lake, playgrounds, and scenic areas, as well as the Bradbury Art Museum and Crowley's Ridge Nature Center for those interested in arts and the natural environment. Additional recreational opportunities are available at nearby gaming lounges, golf venues, and local parks within the surrounding area.
About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour call basis, with shifts structured from Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM. On-site responsibilities include rounding, consults, and procedures, with an average of 10-15 patients per day. Clinical duties consist primarily of heart catheterizations, catheterizations with grafts, pacemaker placements, cardioversions, and unassigned echocardiogram reads. Clinicians who are credentialed in vascular interventions will also be expected to respond to vascular inpatient calls. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
