We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Charge Nurse - LVN/LPN to join our team at Brentwood Place Four in Dallas, Texas. About the Role
As a Charge Nurse - LVN/LPN at Brentwood Place Four, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to our residents, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments
- Leading a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in the provision of patient care
- Coordinates patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness of care
- Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
- Identifies and reports any changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising nurse
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans
- Supervise and lead a team of LVNs and LPNs to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
- Identify and report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising nurse
Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN licensure in the State of Texas
