As our Newbury Street Store Manager, you will be the ultimate vibe setter, owning the sales floor, delivering unforgettable experiences for our customers and leading a passionate team that lives and breathes Polly. From making sure the store looks iconic and runs smoothly, to coaching your team and celebrating the wins, you'll be the driving force that brings our brand to life in store.
What You'll Do
- Lead the daily operations of a high-volume retail store, driving sales performance and delivering results across key metrics including conversion, ATV, UPT, payroll, and customer experience.
- Coach, motivate, and develop a team of Assistant Store Managers, Key Leaders, and Retail Sales Associates, creating a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Deliver an elevated customer experience by leading service behaviors, styling expertise, product knowledge, and omni-channel engagement across every customer touchpoint.
- Analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and execute action plans that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and overall store success.
- Oversee all operational functions including inventory management, stock replenishment, RFID processes, cash handling, compliance, loss prevention, safety standards, and labor optimization.
- Execute and maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards, ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready, inspiring, and aligned with brand direction.
- Partner closely with Retail Leadership and cross-functional teams to successfully execute company initiatives, product launches, marketing activations, and store events while fostering an engaging team culture that celebrates wins and drives performance.
Who You Are
- A proven retail leader with 3+ years of management experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric retail environment.
- Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and building strong relationships with both customers and team members.
- A coach and people developer who leads with empathy, accountability, and a commitment to helping others grow their careers.
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen and a track record of driving sales, improving KPIs, managing payroll, and delivering operational excellence.
- Hands-on, energetic, and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in visual merchandising and passionate about bringing product stories, campaigns, and brand moments to life within the store.
- A strong communicator and collaborative partner who can influence, problem-solve, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable using retail technology and operational systems, including Shopify POS, RFID inventory management, Microsoft Office, and HRIS/payroll platforms such as ADP or Rippling.
